Are Airsoft Guns Safe For Kids?

Many parents who have slightly older kids may be getting pestered to allow them to buy or use an Airsoft gun or attend an Airsoft event. This leaves most parents asking Are Airsoft Guns Safe For Kids? Should I let my kids use them and what are the dangers of letting them near such products?

Airsoft is very similar to paintball, which is very popular all over the world. Airsoft events are organised by specialist teams and companies, where people can go an play games based around shooting each other, capturing objectives and generally having fun. These events are controlled by a strict code of practice and companies who offer them must have signed up with the relevant authorities to allow them to do so.

Like paintball, Airsoft can hurt you, unless the correct precautions are used. Helmets, goggles and padding must be worn and places that offer events will also enforce strict rules on how far away you must be before you can fire. They also forbid purposely shooting at someone in their head.

As long as the correct processes and procedures are followed, Airsoft is safe for children. Wearing goggles and a face mask or helmet are a must and any additional body padding can be used to help stop the impact of each of the small plastic rounds that an Airsoft gun fires. There should be an adult that is capable of enforcing the rules and uses of the weapons and also someone that is sensible and trustworthy.

As with any extreme sport or play that involves strenuous activity, there will be an element of risk involved. For children under the age of 16 or 21, the parents may need to sign a waiver or disclaimer, stating that they understand the risks involved and that their child is also fit and healthy enough to participate in such a sport or activity. As with paintballing, small bruises may be left by the impact of the Airsoft pellets, but these usually fade after a few days. In some circumstances, the skin may be broken but the wound is only very slight and will heal very quickly.

So in summary, the answer is that Airsoft guns are safe to use provided that the child in question can follow rules and orders. Provided that they are under the guidance of a responsible adult, there should be no reason why they cannot participate in Airsoft activities and games.

Buying Airsoft guns is also easy and they can be ordered from many different Internet websites, without the need to prove your age or consent.

Cheap Airsoft guns - they are there value?

I think that this a fair question to ask, if you are shopping for an Airsoft Gun. A cheap Airsoft Gun money is value or should spend more money and buy a more expensive rifle? I think that everything depends on depending on who's playing and what the weapon used for be. If at the time of purchase in the backyard doses to meet a newbie only to shoot Airsoft Gun player, who wants to I would then with the cheap Airsoft Gun definitely go. If the player uses the weapon in a war camp Airsoft or marksmen competitions then the obvious, well thought through, should be more expensive piece of choice.

But keeping up with questions whether cheap Airsoft guns are worth the money is the title of this article. Yes damn as they are! And the good news is that there are so many ways, is when it comes the less expensive Airsofrt guns. By far the most popular is the electrical series or AEG. The crowds really like the semi-automatic and automatic function that come with these weapons. In fact a few fps (feet per second) to victims and go with the electric Airsoft Gun, although the action spring makes Airsoft guns from them in the fps category. If you have read some of my articles, you know that I love the original spring action guns.

Another possibility, although not as cheap yet very modest-bit rates the CO2 and green gas series of Airsoft weapons. With these, you have no shortage of energy or fps. These weapons are hit hard and true. The fall is the pioneer, which is used with these weapons.  CO2 cartridges not very long and have a leaking gasket can go through many cartridges and that could get expensive. Green gas is just plain expensive. This is largely on the fact that the point raised gas charges if shipping to order stock or customers due to its flammability.

As you can see your options are not limited when it comes to the purchase of Airsoft guns. It depends on just what it for to and how much you are willing to pay to use it. The very best values are in my opinion the spring guns. No gas to deal with, no cartridges or batteries. Just plain old elbow grease to the mechanism the valve.  But, that's just me "Mr. old school". Thanks for visiting.

Airsoft Guns - Getting to Know Them More

A lot of people like to use airsoft guns for hunting or just for fun. However, there are a lot of different products available in this line and knowing which is best for your intended purposes is often a difficult task. You're going to need advice about gun and pellet types, which is what you should be able to gain from the following paragraphs of this article.

First ask yourself what you're going to be doing most with the gun. If you're just going to try to hit at man-made targets and need the best accuracy, you should go for a target gun. However, if you actually want to go hunting with this firearm, you should be looking into specialized hunting guns, which have only slightly less good accuracy, but which shoot pellets with three to five times the energy of their counterparts.

If you don't want to spend a lot of time re-cocking your gun, you should take a look at the pre-charged options, which make everything go much faster. Whether you go for this advantage or not, however, it's important that you have pellets at the best caliber for your gun. Sometimes this means mixing different ones to get the best shooting experience.

If you're trying to determine which pellets will move the fastest, you need to take a look at their size. Large pellets move more slowly both because they're heavier and because they cause more wind resistance. By looking at the type of pellet you're buying, you should be able to get an idea of how fast it is and what things it should be used for.

If you're looking to get target airsoft guns, you're going to need to know how to determine the accuracy. First, you should look at the pellet itself, specifically the crown or barrel lip, which should have a surface that keeps the pellet from wobbling. If it did wobble, it could shoot off in another direction besides the point you were aiming at.

You also want to make sure nothing's off-balance at all when it comes to the pellet's spinning in the area of uniformity. It doesn't take much to throw off lightweight pellets. You'll learn this more than ever if you have to shoot in the wind. Chance's are they'll be pushed slightly off track no matter how good your aim is in, especially high winds.

Again, you need to think about what you're using the gun for. If you want to do both target practice and hunting, you might need two different types of guns. Even if you're just getting one type, you should try out different models or at least get recommendations before you buy. Some types of hunting guns are better for hunting different animals.

It's great to be able to take airsoft guns for test runs, but how do you determine how they're going to shoot, especially if you're using them for hunting? A handy trick is to shoot at a bar of soap and gather judgments first about different guns and then on the best pellets. The right gun and ammunition together will give you the best overall deal.

Airsoft Gun Versatility

When thinking of the market for airsoft guns, the demographic of males ages 13-24 usually pops up. However, while the majority of consumers are of that profile, airsoft guns can be fun for anyone, of any gender or age. The demographics of users are proportional to the wide range of uses of the guns. Many people simply have not used an airsoft product before, and therefore are not aware that they may have an interest in it.

Decades ago, young boys ran around with Daisy BB guns, shooting spheres of metal at anything they took a fancy to. Thankfully, today's guns are much safer and practical. Kids as young as eight can safely operate a basic airsoft gun, and even participate in small games. There is practically no age limit for due to safety advancements, although admittedly it would be unwise to give a two-year old a gun.

Even people who are not athletically inclined can have fun with airsoft guns. The two most popular alternatives to the game are target shooting and marksmanship practice. Target shooters who utilize interesting targets, such as apples or even cans, have an unlimited supply of entertainment on hand. People who want to improve their marksmanship can continuously buy airsoft guns and achieve perfect shooting with each. With the declining cost and increasing options of airsoft guns, it is not that expensive to own five or six good quality ones.

What about girls? As of currently, it is relatively rare to find a female player, but with the rising equality of men and women, this untapped market is getting into sports once thought only to be dominated by males (such as football). Female participation in paintball is growing, and thus participation in airsoft has grown as well, and will continue to grow as more and more women realize that airsoft is a very fun, exciting, and safe sport.

The attribute of airsoft guns that most defines them is their realism, and who would be most interested a gun's realism? The answer is the Baby Boomer Generation, who find large historical value in replica airsoft guns. Many seniors are fascinated with replicas and own dozens of products simply for their appearance. From the above descriptions, it is clear that nearly no one is untouched by the potential of airsoft guns.

Buying Airsoft Ammo

The extreme action sport of airsofting is seemingly getting more and more popular by the day. One day you will see four kids out in a field somewhere, shooting each other with the realistic looking AK-47's or AR-15's. The next, police academies and military training programs are using them to simulate real-life missions for their students. Airsoft has swept the world, taking technology and kids everywhere with it.

Airsoft started out in Japan in the mid 1980's after a law was passed that disallowed the ownership of real firearms in the country. Manufacturers began to realize that people where very much still interested in guns, so they began to produce plastic models that shot out various calibers of rubber or plastic BB's. Over then next two decades, airsofting has developed into a world-wide phenomenon, as well as the technology that comes with it.

While some of you not familiar with the sport my not think there is that much thought put into developing a plastic BB, but surprisingly, there is. Everything from the weight of the BB to what the BB is made out of determines it's flightpath out of the barrel of the gun.

BB's can weigh anywhere from .11 grams to .88 grams. The lighter they are, the faster they fly. But the downside to a light BB is that the wild factor plays a much bigger role in where it will end up. Lighter BB's are mainly used for close quarters combat (CQB) and typically fired from a sub-machine gun or shotgun. The heavier BB's used in airsoft are better equipped for longer flight paths. Given that, the best use for heavy airsoft BB's are for sniper rifles or other long range assault weapons. While they do not fly as fast, they can maintain their kinetic energy better and fly a truer path to the intended target. And the medium weighted BB's use is basically for everything in between and can work in almost any and all situations.

When buying airsoft ammo, the main factors to consider are:

What kind of gun do I have?

What style of play am i going for, CQB, Sniper, Support?

Where will i be playing? Is it windy?

This guide will certainly help any airsoft individual, whether they are a seasoned vet, or just someone picking it up for the first time.

Airsoft - Toys?

Airsoft....Toys?

I recently wished to sell an Airsoft gun on a local on-line classifieds page. (an extra one I had on hand) I detailed the description, threw in a picture and shortly after submitting..To my surprise, My ad was flagged, refused and rejected.

I immediately went to the forum to ask why? (It seems his classified allows its viewers to flag and remove YOUR products.)

I was told, "It's a gun."

I replied  "It is a Toy!  My ad specifically said "Airsoft". Which means it uses Airsoft PLASTIC BB's. No bullets, No pellets, hence the word "Air Soft". " The same person tells me " It looks like a gun."

I'm dumbfounded!! Yes! Indeed it does. It is Suppose to!

Am I the only one in this world, that played with brothers who had Metal shiny Fake "pop" guns as a child? You know..the ones "without" the Bright orange tips and looking, very realistic?

We played cop's and robbers. You were the good guy..if you were able to play the cop! We would spend hours on end running around the neighborhood, hiding in bushes and behind trees...yelling stop or I'll shoot! Those were the BEST days! A guarded memory of a wonderful stable childhood.

Yes, Our society today has become a little different since "way back when". Our children now spend numerous hours on end sitting in one spot playing on computers, Home video games, which has been proven (in over exposure) to cause behavioral problems & obesity from the lack of exercise. But has anyone looked at what they are playing? A good majority of the time, its games of killing ..for others (play) money and prizes. (it isn't just pong anymore people!) Tell me what this "play" is teaching our children?

Airsoft comes into play, as the modern day, cops and robbers or the primal "hunting" game. Which Nobody gets "hurt". (yes if it hits you in the eye..it can hurt...but anything that hits you in the eye..will!)

Exercise with this gaming is defiantly a plus in today's "fast food" & convenience slammed world. Along with teaching our children to get along, share & "play right". Which, in my opinion are well needed skills for Adulthood. Airsoft is not being used to "rob" people, To cheat people etc. It is simply a game of modern day "cops and robbers." Or our primitive instinct of Hunting.

Being flagged and removed, made me wonder. Wonder how the slingshot (which can be more powerful than any airsoft gun), the bow and Arrow, or violent Video game offered for sale.. did not receive a flag or removal?. It made me wonder just what people in this day and age think is harmful to our children.

I have children (7 to be exact - teenage and older) Yes we have 2 video consoles in my home and 3 computers! I do not buy my children "real" guns, violent video games, etc. I do not allow my children to "hang" on the computer or video console. Computers are for homework, and an hour of fun (limited)..with parental controls. Video gaming is a timed "treat" for them to play when chores are finished, homework is done, and they "deserve." it. I am not "downing" video gaming, computers or any of today's technology. I am however wondering what has become of healthy everyday "PLAY". in our world. And why people would consider an Airsoft gun anything other than.. a Toy?

Airsoft Guns Make Great Presents

"A Christmas Story" is a classic movie, loved by many, all of whom can quote the most famous line from it - "You'll shoot your eye out, kid!" This comes constantly when the main character, Ralphie, asks for a Red Rider BB gun for Christmas. All the people who said that had a point - BB guns can indeed be dangerous - and so you might want to go for an alternative product in the line of airsoft guns instead.

There are all sorts of BB guns and paint guns on the market, but you might not feel comfortable with these - for the mess, if not for the potential risk. Now, it is true that airsoft models have BBs in them as well, but as opposed to being small and hard, they are larger and made of soft plastic. They won't hurt even when shot head on, and so they are a great option for those concerned with safety.

Of course, all this doesn't make buying one any easier. If you don't know much about airsoft guns yourself, you're bound to feel confused about which is the best option. You don't want to get a bad deal, and you do want to get the best item possible for the money. Here are some tips that will help you ensure your gift will be very well received.

To begin, make sure you're buying from the right company. Some individual scammers will try to make sales from their own P. O. Boxes and end up taking all your money. You should see that there's an actual business address involved, because this will ensure that your money goes where it needs to, and stays safe throughout the purchasing process.

Of course, just because a company won't steal your money, that doesn't mean they're perfect. You're also not going to want to buy from anywhere that doesn't have a return policy. Even if you make an educated buy, you might not get what you want, and you need to be able to send the gun back either to exchange it or to get your money back.

Still, you should do everything possible to make sure you make the right decision in the first place, and that can mean looking at the troubleshooting section of the company's website, which should provide all the details you need. Reading the information here can provide a quick and effective introduction to knowing where the right products are.

Once you do find a company you like, you'll probably want to stick with them, so you should be sure they have everything you need. You'll need to keep refilling the gun with more BBs, but you'll also want products like batteries, chargers, and lubricants. If someone makes the guns well, they'll probably make everything else well also.

Shopping online is indeed your best option, as it makes everything fast and easy. There are a lot of different stores on the internet, and when you find the best one for you, you'll keep going back. Once you give airsoft guns as a gift and see how appreciated it is, there's a good chance you'll keep buying them - and maybe even get one for yourself.

Hybrid Airsoft Guns

Hybrid airsoft guns originally debuted in the middle of 2006, although they have not become very popular since. This new type of airsoft gun functions differently from gas, electric, and spring airsoft guns (although it is powered electrically). In fact, it works almost exactly like a real gun. BBs are placed in the front of real-like shells, and red caps placed in the back. The shells are inserted into the magazine, and the magazine can be loaded regularly. After pulling the trigger, the firing pin in the gun hits the red cap on the back of the shell, which explodes and creates a high pressure inside the casing. This pressure pushes the BB out through the barrel at a velocity which is unachievable by the other three types of airsoft guns.

Real guns operate very similarly, in that the firing pin strikes the primer, creates a spark, and ignites the gunpowder. The burning of the gunpowder creates gas and pressure inside the shell, which pushes the bullet out. The differences between the real gun way and the airsoft gun way is that only a tiny amount of gunpowder is used in the red caps for airsoft (while a lot is used in real shells), and the pressure created in an actual gun is much higher than in an airsoft gun (also, there is the key difference of the projectile being metal instead of plastic).

With a hybrid gun, you obviously need to be much more conservative with your shooting, or if you feel the need to fire a great deal, you must take a lot of time to prepare more rounds. That is the clear negative of hybrid guns; the need to prepare each round (or you could probably buy rounds pre-assembled, but they will of course be more expensive than regular BBs). However, there are positives. For one, many players will be attracted because of the stunning realism, as now not only does the gun look real, but so does the ammunition. As stated, because of the nature of the ammo, the velocity achieved is very high. This is great for snipers, who now can shoot from much further back (higher speed = more distance). In fact, hybrid guns would be good for many single shot airsoft models, although using one in a semi-automatic or fully automatic model would result in paying a lot of money or using a lot of time for the ammunition.

With the introduction of hybrid guns, one wonders how realistic airsoft guns can get. Some airsoft guns look completely real (save for the orange tip), and now even the ammo and some internal mechanisms are functioning realistically. Due to the military's growing use of airsoft guns, researchers are developing airsoft advancements faster. It seems the hybrid airsoft gun is just a glimpse of what new glories airsoft holds for us.

Airsoft Electric Guns For Fun

Electric Airsoft for Airsoft Electric Guns Needs

Although there are plenty of great reasons to purchase an electric airsoft gun, you need to be careful about doing your research ahead of time. Like any purchase, the less you know before spending the money the greater the risk of experiencing buyer's remorse. And there's no good reason to mar your enjoyment of the electric airsoft equipment by not spending a little time doing at least some background research on what's available. So before you decide to spend a dime, here are some tips that can help you make a smart airsoft electric guns purchase.

Know the Purpose for the Air Soft Electric Gun

First, you have to understand why you want the gun in the first place. There are plenty of good reasons to choose one but you need to know the primary purpose for yours because different styles of weapons are going to be better for different uses. For example, if you are going to be shooting at your friends on a course you'll probably want something faster than a manual spring pistol just wouldn't be the best choice. You're not going to be competitive when you have that delay between your shots.

When you think about how you are going to be using the gun first, you'll have some guidance in which models to search for. If nothing else, you'll have some way of getting across to a seller or customer service representative what you're wanting from the gun airsoft product you plan to purchase. Of course, if you plan to use it for lots of reasons, your best choice is the electric model known as an AEG.

Consider the Electric Airsoft Gun Speed

Don't buy one of these electric airsoft guns unless you know the speed it can shoot in feet. Without this knowledge, you could end up purchasing an item that won't deliver the results you want. For example, if you're looking for a machine gun unit you'll definitely want to looking into the Airsoft electric guns line because these are capable of shooting between 300 and 400 feet per second. Keep in mind that those numbers also indicate the safe firing distance between you and other people.

Think about the Cold and Effects on the Airsoft Electric Gun

While this may sound a little ridiculous, the truth is the weather can have a big impact on you choice of airsoft weapons. If you're playing in a very cold location and you've chosen a gas powered rifle, for example, you could be in for a big surprise when it doesn't work. That's because most of the gas powered guns won't work in very cold conditions. Spring loaded might be a better option if you're just wanting to do some target practice outdoors. However, if you're looking forward to running the course with some friends in zero degree temperatures while snow is still on the ground you're going to want an Airsoft electric guns. They don't freeze up but they do provide rapid firing action. All of that makes a great reason to invest in Electric Airsoft.

Choose an Airsoft Gun

While there are only 3 types of Airsoft weapons at your disposal, gas, electric and spring, each type has different versions with additional features and tools. The reason why you want depends on decision about the type of Airsoft is buy rifle the rifle eventually, unless to the practice shoot at targets or to play in a game with other players.

Pistols or rifles are spring Airsoft rifle to use the simplest type of Airsoft, pull the film compressed spring and is ready to shoot the weapon. These weapons are great for target practice, relatively cheap to buy and there is no need for gas or download it for it to work. On the other hand, it has 'downloaded' every time when it is raised (like a shotgun/rifle), isn't the most important factor where speed is so very suitable for games. Airsoft gas guns are generally used for the heavy gun enthusiasts and as they worked through are a gas-powered mechanism powered by either carbon dioxide or green gas must each time again to be filled.

Also note that if conditions are very cold, gas weapons does not work. The electric Airsoft guns and electric powered BB guns, (also known as AEG) are the most popular Airsoft guns on the market today and the perfect choice for games. Produced in Japan, they have used a battery to power the electric motor, which discharge allows the inner mechanism of the pellets. They can be fired again and again and are ideal for games. Another advantage of electric guns is that they have often high capacity magazines, which can contain hundreds of BBs.

If you should choose your weapon you note the following:
How long to expect the weapon to the last? With some TLC and the proper maintenance, weapons can take many years. Its preservation is also the quality of the weapon and the material that it is made from the; Plastic is not as long as metal and easier but breaks a cheaper option.
Precision of the inner race is decided by the hole, length and quality. Precision of inner barrel bore diameter to improve the predisposition of the BB and it make the same targeted place each return, if pulled will and can be purchased in a variety of lengths.
If the weapon is damaged costly, yes take it have to replace, if parts can be replaced, at low cost or even updated thus can prove the quality of the gun at a fraction of the cost.
Think about the accessories buy with your gun go want to, they are cheap? What types of additional journals are purchased can, and what is the cost for this?
Note the FPS (feet per second) speed. This is the speed where the pellets allow the barrel, so the higher the FPS, the faster that pellet will go. Note the bullet, but, the faster the more influence on contact with a part of the body. Roughly, a weapon with a 2/300 FPS hit someone within ten feet skin may be damaged and some very painful bruises.
The number of laps that can be fired in a certain time from the pistol is called the ROF (rate of fire). This function is often hyped up because the more rounds on target increases the chance of a hit, but necessarily more ammunition used is.

Is to find the ideal location, information and advice on buying an Airsoft Gun , read some reviews on the Internet. Airsoft forums can be valuable sources of information. Not think to buy a weapon, just because it looks good, but all the facts consider, before coming to a decision.

Are Cheap Airsoft Guns Reliable?

There is always one key question On every shoppers mind - how cheap can I get it? This is true of airsoft guns too. We all expect to be able to get the best possible deal with anything we buy today. Fortunately investing in an airsoft gun doesn't have to break the bank - you can get some exciting models at very attractive prices.

The quality and features of your airsoft replica will depend on your budget. There are three basic types of airsoft gun - in order of expense they are:

Spring

These are the cheapest airsoft guns you can get. An internal spring shoots the pellet from the gun. They're single shot guns which means you'll need to cock the gun each time you want to fire one of the plastic bbs. This can get annoying at times but these guns can be purchased for just a few dollars.

Gas

Gas powered models add one immediate feature - automatic fire. With a gas powered airsoft rifle or pistol you don't need to cock the gun each time because it has a gas charge built in. These are far more powerful than most spring airsoft guns and slightly more expensive. This extra power comes at an added expense - the gas needs to be refilled. This can be achieved with co2 cartridges or a portable hand pump. For the added expense gas airsoft guns definitely feel more like the "real thing".

Electric

And finally the electric airsoft gun. Also known as AEG (Airsoft Electric Gun) these are the top of the range when it comes to airsoft guns. Each AEG has a tiny but very powerful motor inside which powers the firing mechanism. There is still a spring inside an AEG but this is controlled by the electronic motor to achieve high rates of fully automatic fire. One of the really neat things about this type of airsoft gun is that it can be loaded with miniature paintballs. A word of warning however - if a paintball breaks inside an AEG it can clog up the entire firing mechanism meaning you'll have to strip the gun down and clean it.

So with airsoft guns it's best not to focus on the word cheap. What you're looking for is value for money and the features that suit you most. You can buy an airsoft gun for less than $20. That doesn't make it cheap - just very good value for money. Regardless of the cost of your airsoft gun once your friends see your new "toy" they'll want one too!

6 Tips That Will Help You Decide on the Best Airsoft Guns

Are you looking for the best airsoft guns? Well, let me give you a few tips that will help you decide which is the best one for you to buy. Below I have listed 6 tips that should help you make a good buying decision.

Tip #1 Decide what it is you are using it for.

People use airsoft guns for various reasons. Some of these reasons include, war games, military and police training or scenarios, target shooting and practicing, backyard fun, and the list goes on and on. In addition, your environment is important to consider. Will you be using the gun in a field, or be in close combat with other players? If you are going to be doing a little of both (long and short-range distance) then you might consider a carbine air rifle.

Tip #2 Decide on a budget

If you want a good airsoft gun you need to think in the range or $200 or more. Try not to settle for a gun just because it is low priced. If it has a really cheap price, there's a good chance that it is cheaply made.

Tip #3 Read customer reviews and forums

Make sure you do a good job of researching the product before you purchase it. Don't just buy something because it looks cool or because the manufacturer touts it to be great. The best way to do this is to use the social experience. Go to Amazon and eBay and read up on the customer's pros and cons. I would never trust a review that has less than 10 people commenting. If it's a really good or really bad item, there should be quite a bit of talk about it.

Tip #4 Pick a gun that is noted for accuracy, power, and durability

Most people will buy a gun because they like the way it looks. However, those same people will be happy with there purchase if it has power, if it is accurate, and if it holds up after much use. Be sure and read reviews that have to do with these three things and you should be happy with your purchase.

Tip #5 If you buy your gun from an online site like eBay, make sure the seller is reputable.

One of the most popular ways for finding the best air soft guns are sites like eBay. Make sure that the seller has a positive feedback. Also, you want to make sure you see clear pictures and that the seller gives clear descriptions regarding a product. You will also need to clearly understand whether you are buying a product that is new or used.

Tip #6 Make sure you pay attention to mandatory accessories

Some guns require additional items before you get a completed gun. Be certain you read clearly what you are buying and you do some additional research to find out about accessories to the gun and how much those accessories are.

If you follow the above steps, you will be much happier with your airsoft gun purchase.

Be certain that you do your homework and read good reviews to find the most awesome airsoft guns. Doing so will help you avoid quite a bit of frustration. Airsoft guns reviews are written to give you the best options when choosing an airsoft gun to fit your desires.

Desert Eagle Airsoft Pistols - Great Lethal Support?

Hate to Surrender?

Thinking like the enemy? This is important in war games. But out in the war zone, reality bites. The dynamics of war games require quick thinking, nimble feet, and good firearms. Probably you experienced running out of pellets, and could do nothing about it. When the enemy closed in, you surrendered. If you had a support weapon like those Desert Eagle airsoft pistols, the scene might have ended differently.

Desert eagle airsoft pistols are good support weapons. You can tuck it in your vest fully loaded for some nasty surprises. The powerful Desert Eagle is a licensed product of the Israeli Military Industries. The airsoft replica is equally aggressive, and can hold against other airsoft guns- if you know how to use it to your advantage.

Quick Fire

This high-end airsoft pistol is fully automatic therefore quick to fire. For those ambushes, you can draw the gun quickly and fire away for your dear life. These pistols also have high capacity magazine and adjustable hop-up. The weight and the blow-back of gas power add to the feel of real Desert Eagles.

The CO2 powered Desert Eagle airsoft pistols are more powerful than other airsoft weapons. The gas when heated will jettison the bb pellets. To get maximum performance from the pistol, it is best to keep both pistol and gas warm. When the enemy closes in, a warm gun will do the rest for you.

Desert Eagle airsoft pistols powered by gas, need not to be re-cocked each time you have to shoot; the drawback with gas powered pistols is the tendency to freeze when used to fire repeatedly. It has to be warmed again, and in the meantime while you are it, distance yourself from the enemy lines.

On the other hand, a full-semi automatic pistol gives repeat fire and blowbacks. You can fire away at the advancing enemy troops by just pulling the trigger. The durable spring guns give the kick and power of a real gun too; but you have to cock the slide for each shoot.

So What Would You Choose?

For $139 you can get a CO2 powered desert eagle pistol. With a magazine capacity of 39 rounds, this is a good buy. But if you want sturdier pistols, get spring models. Spring and automatic pistols are well within the I-can-afford-it-price-range. So it is a matter of your personal choice.

Gas powered Desert Eagle airsoft pistols are affordable. These are not difficult to maintain. You need not recharge or renew batteries. Just fill it with CO2, warm it, and you're ready to go. If you are getting an airsoft pistol, think about the advantages, and disadvantage of the three types of airsoft pistols.

If you need easy to maintain, hard hitting guns with a lot of kick, then Desert Eagle airsoft pistols are your best bet. You cannot afford to be re-cocking the gun for the each fire. Can you afford to re-cock the gun repeatedly while the enemies pounding at the gates? Hmmm...

Great gun support like the desert eagle airsoft pistols [http://www.asktheairsoftexperts.com/2007/08/08/electric-airsoft-pistols-or-gas-airsoft-pistols/] can spell a whole of difference to your game. But still you have a lot of choices here in this for ksc airsoft guns [http://www.asktheairsoftexperts.com/2007/08/10/what-can-you-tell-me-about-ksc-airsoft-guns/]. Airsoft Guns For Recreation

See how an exciting game like airsoft helped Jim bond with his son. I love airsoft for the military feel it gives. Playing it makes me sort of fulfilled as I hoped to enlist in the military as a child, were it not for my reluctant choice of my present career (I had to change, realizing that was actually what I was cut out for). Airsoft guns look real, and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, as found in the real gun world. Now back to my story of Jim and his son... Jim always wondered what he could do to get closer with his son, James.

He was never good at video games, although he would try from time to time. His son was not much into sports, he would always lower his shoulders when asked to play catch or join in on a game of football. Jim realized that his son probably wouldn't follow his footsteps of being a star athlete. Although this disappointed Jim, he knew that he would allow his son to make his own life and he would support anything he did. He knew that he could only be there for his son when he needed him. In the meantime, he thought, he would find something that they both enjoyed doing.

Jim would observe his son and asked him what he liked doing. His son would mention how much he liked the new shooter games that were coming out. Jim asked if they were too violent and his son would shrug. Jim would laugh and ask his son to show him the game. When Jim watched his son play the game, he wondered if it was a good idea for his son to be shooting aliens in a realistic environment. He told his son that he should probably wait a couple years before playing that game. He then knew to check out these games before buying them as presents. While Jim was wondering what he could do with his son, he thought about everything that he thought his son liked and tried to base a decision on that. So far, the only thing he knew that his son liked was those 'shooter' games.

He didn't want his son indulging in those games until he was old enough to, so he tried to think of an alternative. He then had an idea. He bought some airsoft guns and asked his son if he wanted to play a game. When his son sulked, Jim brought out the airsoft guns and his son's eyes lit up. He had never played this game before and was actually excited to see if it was like the games he enjoyed. His father took him out to the mountains and set up some soda cans on a nearby stump. He gave his son a crash course in handling a gun, even an airsoft gun, then had him try to knock down the cans. He noticed that his son was having fun, trying harder with each shot to knock the can off the stump. He told Jim that it kind of reminded him of the video game that he had to wait to play.

Jim knew then that he had found something that they both enjoyed doing and spent the rest of the afternoon shooting at cans. These are great as a way to introduce the proper way to handle a gun in a harmless way. It is also a fun past-time for parents who are looking for different ways to engage their children.

Buying an Airsoft Pistol

Stop Looking And Buy An Airsoft Pistol

When you first start looking for an airsoft pistol it is easy to be overwhelmed with the choices. There are many models and different types of airsoft guns to choose from. Even when you know what kind that you want, with all the websites available that offer them for sale, it is hard to choose which one to buy from. It is easy to get lost in the pursuit of the best price for the best. At some point it is time to stop looking and buy an airsoft gun.

The first thing to do is to decide on the type of airsoft pistol that you want to buy. The different types that you can buy include the following types:

Spring powered airsoft pistols shoot a single shot that is propelled down the barrel with the energy from a spring that is cocked for each shot. They are not capable of being semi-automatic or fully automatic. A spring powered one will not do well in competition. A low cost affordable one that is cheap to shoot.

Electric airsoft pistols shoot a single shot that is propelled down the barrel with energy from an internal piston/spring assembly that is powered by an electric motor. They are capable of being semi-automatic or fully automatic. Electric are used in commonly used in competition. The muzzle velocity can be between 150 and 650 ft/s. It is a moderately cost airsoft pistol. The costs of batteries contribute to the cost of shooting an electric.

Gas powered airsoft pistols shoot a single shot that is propelled down the barrel with pressurized gas. They are capable of being semi-automatic or fully automatic. Commonly green gas is used, but occasionally red gas is used. It is a moderately to high cost airsoft pistol. The cost of gas contributes to the cost of shooting a gas powered.

When choosing a website to buy an airsoft pistol from, you will need to look at the prices, the guarantee offered, the reputation of the site, and the airsoft gun return policy. They can be purchased from local retailers. They might not be able to offer the selection and prices that are available online, but you can buy your gun and shoot it in the same day. A local retailer can also be a resource for local competition, airsoft gun fields, offer airsoft gun repairs, and provide other airsoft gun support. Another option for buying airsoft pistols is to buy pre-owned ones. When purchasing a pre-owned airsoft pistol, you will need to be careful to buy a gun that is in good shape. If you don't have the experience to tell if you are getting a good gun at a good price, bring someone with you who does know about airsoft guns to look at the pistol before you buy one. Some of the places to find pre-owned cheap:

Craigslist
eBay
Classified
Airsoft gun field shop
Retail stores with bulletin boards
Fellow airsoft gun owners

It is good to shop around to find the best guns and the best deals, but at some point you need to stop looking and buy an airsoft gun so you can get out on the field and begin shooting.

Airsoft Guns - How Do I Pick the Right One?

When it comes to the sport of airsoft, there are a few different types, or "classes" of guns available. What you need will depend greatly on what your role will be. For instance, do you want to be a sniper? Or will you be doing mostly QCB (close quarters battles)? Or do you want the best of BOTH worlds? Yes, there is a specific type of gun for ALL of these scenarious!

Another important thing to consider is the price factor. So before I even get started with this guide, I would like to say a little bit about the price of the airsoft gun(s) that you will be using, and what you can expect to get, based on the price that you pay.

Basically you can go cheap, and buy one of the many Chinese made airsoft guns. For the most part these will be made out of mostly ABS plastic, but they will pretty much perform IDENTICAL to the more expensive, "full metal" airsoft guns out there. The main difference will be that their durability is a bit less than the full metal guns. However, unless you do something fairly stupid (like dropping the gun from the roof of a building), then you are most likely not going to have to worry about breaking the gun.

For those of you that want to spend a bit more, you can obviously get a full metal airsoft rifle, but you will also be paying at least $50 more you would pay for an Abs plastic airsoft gun. As far as the components inside of the gun, they will be the same quality as what is inside of the plastic guns (assuming that they are true AEG airsoft guns). However, if you want to spend about $300 or more, you can get an airsoft gun that is made in Taiwan, rather than China. While these types of guns will still perform the same (velocity & accuracy wise), they actually use much higher quality internal components, which pretty much means they will out last the cheaper guns.

Ok, now that we have talked about price and quality, we can talk about specific types of airsoft guns. So with that said, if you want to be a sniper (which almost everyone does), then you will need a powerful "spring" operated airsoft sniper rifle. These guns are great because they shoot the furthest and have the most power. Also, they require no addition power source in order to fire; you simply cock them back for each shot.

For those of you that want to do close quarters battles, you will want the fully automatic electric "AEG" airsoft guns. These guns are better suited for close encounters than the airsoft sniper rifles, mainly because they are smaller, lighter, have a shorter barrel, and can be fired in fully automatic mode.

Lastly, another option is to buy a pistol. However, they are ONLY good for close quarters battles. With an AEG airsoft gun you can still get away with shooting at long distances, but with a pistol, you may as well forget shooting at anyone that is further than about 75 feet away.

And for those of you that want the best of both worlds, they make a popular airsoft gun modeled after the M14, which is basically a hybrid of an airsoft sniper rifle and an electric AEG gun. This puppy can be fired in both semi and full auto modes, can mount a scope, and is extremely accurate as well. This particular type of gun is well suited for close encounters AND distance shooting!

Buying an Airsoft Gun For Christmas

It's that time of year, again. Time to decide what to get your child for Christmas. A lot of parents do not what to just buy their child the same video game they got last year, or something that will become outdated or break within a month. And many parents want to get gifts for their children that will get them outdoors. One great gift to think about is an Airsoft Gun.

Airsoft guns are used to play games. There are federal and state regulations regarding airsoft guns, which have orange tips on them. This is to show that they are not real guns, and can be used for play. The most popular airsoft gun used to play airsoft games is the AEG, which stands for Automatic Electric Gun. They come in several different models, including a submachine gun and rifle.

Before you purchase an airsoft gun as a Christmas present, figure out what it will be used for, and by whom. For a smaller child, you might want to purchase a smaller gun, such as a pistol. It might be easier and cheaper to purchase an airsoft package. These include a gun, ammunition, and usually some type of safety equipment, such as goggles or a vest. If you are only buying for one person, you might look into purchasing a target as well. This will allow the child to practice their precision shooting.

If you just don't like guns in your house, but your child is really into them, you might consider other airsoft products, such as slingshots. This is an revamped, old-fashioned toy. It comes with ammo that you can store in the handle and shoot with precision. This will provide hours of entertainment outdoors, and you will be relieved to know you've purchased the coolest toy of the year.

Airsoft - what is it? And what kind of weapon should I purchase?

Airsoft has two levels really - causal and expert. Casual works only with guns for target practice and professional is involved with an airsoft team. The advantage of Airsoft guns is you benefit risk of realism and skill combined with a real gun but without the presence of (so much). Airsoft guns seem in fact very much like real life firearms; Realism is a fundamental concept to the activity, which is why almost all weapons, you observe an end of red (indicating that it is Airsoft) have. Real tactics are used in competitions, in contrast to paintball. Airsoft used occasionally simulations guns in real army war. They conduct very similar to actual weapons in the way they feel & function.

Buy cheap Airsoft guns

You need to understand the nature of the weapon, you are after, if you want to get a good deal on your weapon. How is the weapon powered? The weapon will be powered by a spring, where the user withdraws himself (or tails) the gun to give the energy of the spring. A spring powered gun is the cheapest and a sniper rifle (as they are to fire single shots are) best and worst one wants an automatic rifle (because you have to after each shot of cock). Rechargeable electronic guns are the best bet if you want to tap a rapid-fire rifle they automatically the weapon you fun. CO2 pistols are the most realistic, because they use a cartridge as a real weapon that will help, automatic make the weapon semi (you have to tap it). The downside is that you have to buy many cartridges!

From a quick product search, you find that the most expensive Airsoft weapons are sniper rifles. This is because they must have a range, the overhead is and must be perfectly aligned with the field, that further examination is required. When you then go a really cheap weapon for a gun. They can pick it up for less than $20. Guns can be expensive and very high performance, but they can be built cheap with average performance. Rifles are somewhere between the two at a price (in General), it mainly occurs whether or not they are automatic.

Look at Airsoft guns a good place to idea, is on-line but be wary of reviews, could she be written by someone that has done well a financial interest in the product! I think that the best way to cheap Airsoft is get guns from one place, where you go and test it yourself. This could be from a friend, an ad on Craigslist or your local newspaper. Try before you buy!

A weapon that fits your skill level and needs and one that feels just right if you keep it, you should buy. If it your first time to play Airsoft is, cheap Airsoft guns will be in order, it will be difficult for you to recognize the difference between a good and bad! Not! a mega cheap Airsoft Gun if you a professional, but there are are probably you disappoint.
